1. Course Introduction
A welcome from your course trainer. Introduction to the modules and what to expect from this course.
2. An Introduction to Facebook Advertising
In this module we introduce some key topics when it comes to Facebook advertising. You’ll learn what platforms FB ads can appear on, how the ad auction works, we introduce Facebook ads manager and business manager and have a quick look at campaign structure.
3. The Facebook Pixel and Event Tracking
In this module we look at the Facebook pixel. You’ll learn what exactly the Facebook pixel is and why it’s so important to make use of it when running Facebook advertising campaigns. You’ll also learn how to track & measure actions on your website, such as purchases or downloads using the Facebook pixel event tracker tool.
4. Strategy & Planning
In this module we look at how you can strategically plan your campaign activity and audiences using the online marketing funnel and audience personas. Running successful Facebook advertising campaigns isn’t just about knowing what buttons to press in ads manager. You need to be able to effectively plan and strategise your campaigns also.
5. Audiences
This module is all about building your audiences. Such a massive part of your success with Facebook advertising will come down to your audiences and audience targeting. You’ll learn the different types of Facebook audiences that you can create and best practice around how to build them so you are more likely to achieve campaign success.
6. Designing your Ads
This module is all about designing your Facebook ads. As well as audience targeting. Another vital aspect of your campaign success will come down to your ad copy and creative and so we look at the different considerations and aspects of an advert and best practice when it comes to choosing ad types, ad copy and creative to help you drive action and success. We’ll also look at some landing page top tips - things you need to consider when it comes to what destination you choose to send your advert traffic to.
7. Execution - Building your Campaigns
Finally, it’s time to setup your Facebook ad campaign. This is where we pull together everything we have learnt so far and create a Facebook ad campaign within Facebook ads manager. In this practical module we work through campaign setup step by step looking at what buttons you need to press and what you need to consider along the way when building out your campaign.
8. Campaign Optimisation
You certainly can’t set and forget your Facebook ad campaigns once they have gone live. In this module we will look at key metrics which you can use to help you improve and optimise your campaigns as well as what buttons you need to press in ads manager to find and get the data that you want to help you learn about and report on your activity.
